Martin Lasarte, the man who coached Griezmann at Real Sociedad and Luis Suarez at Nacional, has suggested a solution to both strikers' poor run of form.

"Goalscorers can suffer from bad spells. I'm sure they (Griezmann and Suarez) are having a bad time with the responsibility of contributing with goals, shots or positive play at the moment," said Lasarte on Spanish radio station, 'Radio Marca'.

"Sometimes, giving the player a spell on the sidelines for a couple of games can help them to recover and get them back on the right track," added the Uruguayan coach, recommending that his former pupils are given a rest so they can recuperate and regain their form.

Despite the bad form of both players at the moment, the Nacional coach says that he always knew that Griezmann would go on to be a world-class player.

"When we got promoted from the Segunda to the Primera Division I said to some journalists that I would build the team around Antoine. Even today I still remember their laughs," explained Lasarte.

Finally, the veteran coach gave his opinion on Suarez's drop in form and said that playing alongside Neymar wasn't good for the Uruguayan striker in the long term because it took the limelight away from him.

"He (Suarez) suffered from Neymar's presence in the team," he said, suggested  that Suarez will improve from now on.
