93 year old top-flight record broken by Premier League team
One Premier League team has become the first team in almost 100 years to lose their opening four top-flight matches without scoring a goal.
The team to take this unfortunate record is Crystal Palace under Frank De Boer, following their 1-0 defeat to Burnley on Sunday. In their opening four Premier League fixtures they have lost to Huddersfield, Liverpool, Swansea and now Burnley without scoring a goal.
They are the first team in Premier League history to manage this unwanted feat and the first team in top flight history since Preston in the 1924/1925 season.

The Dutchman, on the other hand, still remains confident his Palace side will start to pick up the points he believes they deserve.
