Plateau United are still 1 point clear after they won 2-1 against relegation-threatened Jigawa Golden Stars. Rivers United are 2nd after they won 2-0 away to Heartland. Lobi Stars are behind on goal difference as they beat Kwara United 1-0.

At the other end of the table, Adamawa United are still glued to the bottom after they lost 2-0 away to Enugu Rangers. Nasarawa United are also in trouble after the lost 1-0 away to Wikki Tourist. Abia Warriors leapfrog Akwa United, who they beat 2-1.

Elsewhere, Ifeanyi Uba beat MFM 1-0, Kano Pillars beat Dakkada 2-0, and Sunshine Stars fell to a 3-0 defeat away to Warri Wolves.
