Reports in Spain suggest that Saturday's match between Real Madrid and Getafe could see Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo start together for 'Los Blancos' for the first time in 131 days.

Spanish publication 'AS' reports that Real boss Zinedine Zidane will playt he strongest squad available to him, meaning that the pair will start together for the first time since last season's Champions League final in Cardiff.

The curious stat goes to show just how Real have been forced to cope with the absences of a number of star players so far this campaign, with the entire complement of the 'BBC' having scarecely been available to play together.

With the likes of Borja Mayoral, Isco and Marco Asensio filling in for their more illustrious team-mates more often that not so far this season, the 'BBC' has been a rare sight, though if the aforementioned source is correct, it will move closer to becoming a reality once again on Saturday with Ronaldo and Benzema lining up alongside each other once again.

The stage will be some what different this time though, 131 days ago, the duo were looking to defeat Italian champions Juventus to claim yet another Champions League crown, whereas this weekend they face the short hop across Madrid to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez to face Getafe, looking to get their stuttering season back on track.

To make things more interesting, the pair are both yet to get of the mark in the league so far this term. Who will end their goal drought first?
