Alberto Moreno on his return: "I dream of not getting injured again"

Villarreal full-back Alberto Moreno made his return to action in Monday's LaLiga match against Osasuna after seven months out with a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee, and was thrilled to be back playing and expressed his desire not to get injured again.
"I am very excited after the effort to be able to return, I am very happy to be able to play football again, which is what I like the most," the player told the media.
"Now I dream of not getting injured again and that injuries will respect me. I want to train and play because football is what I love the most. The tears were tears of happiness because it is an immense joy to be back after seven months. Ever since I got injured I've been looking forward to playing," he added.
The left-back, who assured that he has felt good and pain-free, said he hopes to regain the level he showed last season until the injury hit him. "I've looked better than expected. The desire is always there and I've been dreaming about yesterday's game for many days. Personally I'm excited, as it's hard for everything I've been through. Now, the idea is to be able to work to be at the level I was before the injury," he said.
On his return to the pitch, Moreno wanted to remember all the people who have supported and helped him during these months of recovery. "I have thought of my family, of all the people who have supported me and worked so that I could return. This club gave me everything, the whole of Villarreal have given their all, and I would also like to thank Dr. Cugat and his team. They have allowed me to go back to doing what I love the most", he concluded.
