Alavés are one of the clubs that have been strongly hit by the health crisis, as a good chunk of their income comes from matches. The club estimate there to be a decrease of between 25% and 35%, according to 'Mundo Deportivo'.
The Basque side could have to take the decision to get rid of one of their star players or several of them, as they know that they will thus recover those losses.
That's where players such as the goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco come in, who is on Sevilla's agenda again and has a release clause of 40 million euros. Alavés already asked for 20 million euros for him.
Other names are Joselu, Lucas Pérez, Laguardia, Rubén Duarte, and Demirovic, therefore there could be a big loss in the summer without Alavés wanting it.
