Agreement between Chelsea and Cucurella pending Brighton approval

Marc Cucurella is finally going to change club this summer. After Brighton ended negotiations with Man City, Chelsea have appeared on the scene. 

The West London club, Fabrizio Romano reports, have reached an agreement with the Spain international to end up at Stamford Bridge before the transfer window closes.

This Monday, it came to light that Chelsea had become interested in the Brighton footballer once the option of joining Man City had been ruled out. 

Reaching an agreement with the Chelsea footballer was quick. Cucurella wants to take advantage of his first great year in the Premier League to sign for a Champions League club. 

All of that could help Barcelona, indirectly. If Cucurella were to move to Chelsea, the Blues could let Marcos Alonso leave. Alonso is badly wanted by Barcelona.

With less a month to go until the transfer window closes, Chelsea or Brighton are getting down to work to complete the deal which would see Cucurella move to Stamford Bridge.
