A 21-year-old man charged over assaulting the Hearts goalkeeper, Scottish Police have confirmed.
That incident is alleged to have happened on Westfield Road, near Murrayfield Stadium, on 28 October.
Both men were released on an undertaking to appear at court later.
Police said inquiries into other incidents that took place at Tynecastle Stadium on Wednesday were ongoing.
During the same game, former Bolton Wanderers and Celtic manager Neil Lennon was struck by a coin.
In all, five people were arrested during the Edinburgh Derby which finished 0-0 between Hearts and Hibs.
