A 'ProFootballDB' report gives the market value of stars in the future. There are surprise names in there.

The health crisis has hit football hard. Especially for the older players who are missing out on their final months of football. Those who do return may not be as good as they were when they return.

It is a different story for the young players though. The 2019-20 season has been for many of them proof that they will go on to greater things. At 'ProFootballDB', BeSoccer's data laboratory, we have made a ranking of the most valuable players of a those born in the year 2000 or later.

The list is led by Jadon Sancho, but others in the top 10 include Vinicius, Ansu Fati and Erling Haaland.

1. Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund) 135,23 M

It was taken for granted that he would move to the Premier League, but the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic could change everything. He was having a spectacular season until the stoppage with numbers only matched by stars like Leo Messi. He is, by far, the youngster born in the 2000s with the greatest projection and market value because he has been showing his quality for two and a half seasons at Dortmund. He has scored 17 goals and given 18 assists so far in the 2019-20 campaign.

3. Vinicius (Real Madrid) 53,1 M

The Brazilian is one of the young players with the greatest future on the whole planet. Real Madrid noticed it and signed gthis winger who has kept improving since joining the club in 2018.
