Paraguay will be looking to set an example for others when it restarts its football league on Friday following a four-month suspension due to the coronavirus.
Hundreds of Olimpia fans welcomed their club's new signing former Real Madrid and Manchester City forward Emmanuel Adebayor as he arrived in Paraguay on Friday at the international airport in Asuncion.
Olimpia now boast a strikeforce of Emmanuel Adebayor and Roque Santa Cruz, with Yaya Toure potentially next to head to South America.
The striker will sign for Olimpia at the age of 35 and he will arrive in Paraguay next week. His presentation is scheduled for Wednesday and the player has provoked lots of interest in the Paraguayan club.
