Zola: 'Sarri will succeed but needs patience of fans'

Sarri was appointed after the dismissal of Antonio Conte earlier in July, with the board growing tired of the former manager's overly-defensive tactics, and are looking to their new man to change that.
While at Napoli, the new manager at Stamford Bridge demonstrated that he likes his teams to play free-flowing and attacking football, and is looking to repeat that in England such as with his 'Sarri-ball' tactics.
Zola was appointed as Sarri's number two as a link between the coach's native Italy and the history of Chelsea, given the former midfielder's legendary status at the west London outfit following the 7 years he spent there. The coach is confident that his new boss can be successful in the Premier League, but may need time before that can be borne out.
"I like the way his teams play football. They are very organised, very good defensively but also play very good football. I've always liked coaches that promote this type of football." Zola told the club's website.
"As long as the people at the club supports the club, have a little bit of patience with him I'm sure they will get what they are expecting,"
The team are currently in Australia preparing for preseason games with local teams, and Sarri is making sure to instill his philosophy in to the players by scheduling double sessions with the players on most days.
The new assistant is believes that this way of working will work in the Premier League, and is optimistic about what the future holds.
"I'm looking forward to doing my best and to make sure we keep on giving trophies and satisfaction to the club." he added.
