After a stunning match-winning brace on his debut, the Swedish forward has only scored one other goal in six games. Zlatan put his slow-burning start down to adapting: "It's a big contrast from where I came from. This is what I said in the beginning, I'm looking and I'm learning."
"I need to adjust and come into the system. I'm not used to playing one game a week, it's too much time between games so my adrenaline is very high and I need to have patience to wait for the next game," he continued.
"I'm positive. I have big motivation and I just look forward to every game because training is one thing, playing games is another, so we need games."
Ibrahimovic was recently omitted from Sweden's World Cup side. He had previously retired from international football and played no part in the nation's qualifying successes. His only focus now is on improving with Galaxy.
