Zidane risks full-strength side against Villarreal

In his press conference a day prior to the game, Zidane said: "I don't think about injuries. It's good to play [on Saturday] to find rhythm and intensity. We have to play well and be ready for the final."

With the Champions League final against Liverpool just around the corner, the Real Madrid boss chose to field a remarkably strong side, with almost all his stars present. 

Although many would have thought to rest Cristiano Ronaldo, the legendary No. 7 returned to the staring XI after recovering from a sprained ankle suffered against Barcelona. 

With his son, Luca, between the sticks, Zidane named a full-strength back four and midfield. Gareth Bale, scorer of a brace against Celta Vigo, and Isco accompanied the Portuguese forward in attack.

Karim Benzema, who recently found out he won't be heading to the World Cup with Russia, was left on the bench, ready to be called upon if necessary.
