According to 'AS', the average age of Zidane's signings at Real Madrid is 21.7 - an unmistakable sign that 'Los Blancos' are now opting for younger talents.
Out of all of Madrid's latest signings, for example, the oldest has been 28 year-old forward Eden Hazard.
It seems that Zidane, and the club in general, are not only thinking about the present, but are also looking to the future by signing so many young players with high potential.
After Zidane, it was Julen Lopetegui who signed the youngest players for Real Madrid during the Pérez era, with the average age of his signings being 22.7.
In the last few years, then, Madrid seem to be rejuvenating their squad substantially. The experience of players such as Sergio Ramos and Marcelo is important, but it is now being combined with the potential of Luka Jovic, Rodrygo and co. as the club looks to build for the future.
