"It is not the moment to speak about the goalkeepers. The keepers have contracts and what will be done with them will my responsibility, but now is not the moment to speak about that. Courtois is ready and he's an option, we will see on Thursday", revealed Real Madrid manager Zidane in the press room.
Continuing in the same vain, he refused to give away much about the goalkeepers: "I don't have to answer. It is my business. I will not tell you who will play in the league or in the Champions League - you will see next season, within two months".
He was less blunt when discussing Gareth Bale, admitting that he may leave in summer: "If you buy players, someone has to go. We have 24 or 25 players and if we buy players then of course someone will have to leave, but that's how it is - it is normal".
Regarding Vinicius, Zidane said "Tomorrow he will not play, he still has work to do. He has been out two months and he needs time. If someone comes from the CFB (Brazilian Football Confederation) then it is a pleasure - it is more of a question of the club working with the Brazilian national team".
Focusing on the duel against Getafe, the Frenchman warned: "It is a team doing phenomenally. It has been the best season of their history and that is reward for their work. And with us knowing that, we will try to play better than we have lately. We always play to win and this is what we will try to do".
"I do not think the league doesn't bother me. We have 33 titles, how many do Barcelona have? Lately they have been doing well and we must congratulate them, but throughout history Madrid have won many more titles. I am not saying this to defend myself. They have been better recently, but we need to change this dynamic".
At the same time, Zidane did not beat around the bush and stated: "For me the most important thing is the league, it is the day to day work and it is the most difficult to win. In the Champions League you have 12 games, whereas in the league you have 38".
"Next year we will try to fight for the league from the first minute. It is the day to day work and it's very important. Next it will be the main objective. I do not think the players have changed their attitude. They know that they need to train. For me, my role has not changed in this second stint in charge", he added.
However, the Frenchman recognised that he has returned with bigger management responsibilities than he had during his first stint in charge. "I have always had it, but before I did not have such a big say in the transfers. In the first years there were not many changes, but now there will be".
"The objective is to win the league. It is always our target. We must not think that only the Champions League matters to us and the cup and the league do not. But a rival has been doing really well. We have not put the league aside. Our plan will be to win the league without underappreciating the other compeititons".
