Belgian keeper Thibaut Courtois returned to group training on Friday after missing Thursday's training session. He was back for the final session ahead of the game with Huesca. Dani Carvajal, Nacho Fernández, Álvaro Odriozola and Martin Odegaard were out injured.

Zinedine Zidane prepared for the match up with Huesca with a light training session at the club's training complex in Valdebebas. Courtois joined the rest of the team. The goalie will be able to play and look to keep the number one spot.

Zidane has weighed up the changes he will make to a starting XI which was the same for 'El Clasico' and the Champions League clash with Gladbach, except the enforced change to Nacho.

On the pitch, Odriozola and Odegaard trained separately as they count down the days until they can link up with their teammates. Dani Carvajal and Nacho, who trained indoors.

The training session consised of tactical work and exercises with the ball before playing matches on reduced sized pitches. The players also did shooting practice.
