Zidane considering Ramos' replacement

A new day begins and the battle for second position continues. We say this because FC Barcelona are already one world away (11 points) with seven weeks to go.

Atletico and Real Madrid are fighting to get the second place to try to finish the season in the best possible way. This weekend, the reds and whites will host Celta while the 'merengues' will face Leganés next Monday.

It has taken more than four years for Los Blancos to play Leganes on this day of the week. They will visit Butarque with the intention of claiming the three points, but they will have to do so without Sergio Ramos.

The club released a statement on Saturday revealing that their captain is suffering with a calf injury, meaning he won't face Leganes. Therefore, Zidane must decide who is best to replace him in central defence.

According to 'El Español', the most logical option is that Nacho enters the scene to be Varane's partner in defense. But there are also other names, such as Vallejo, Javi Sánchez or Casemiro. Note  that the Brazilian can play well as a defender and 'Zizou' could even have the luxury of leaving him out and putting in another midfielder.
