Paulo Dybala was involved in one of the standout signings of the summer in Serie A. The Argentine ended his time at Juventus after seven seasons at the Turin outfit.
The striker then moved to Roma, where he was presented in front of 10,000 fans and images of it went around the world. But his destination, initially, was not Jose Mourinho's Roma.
Inter held talks with the attacker and joining Simone Inzaghi's side looked the most likely option. However, Inter took a step back in negotiations and the footballer ended up in the Italian capital.
In an interview which Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti gave to 'AS', he revealed the reason why they did not go ahead with his signing: "There were negotiations over Dybala, but when we signed Lukaku, we decided we now had quality in attack."
