The great game between Liverpool and Manchester City left a lot to speak about. From the stunning performance of the 'Reds', to the controversy surrounding Guardiola's exaggerated gesture.
Liverpool are now firmly at the top of the Premier League, as Jurgen Klopp's side now have a nine point advantage over Man City.
Former Manchester City footballer, Vincent Kompany, tried to give some credit to his old side in 'Football Daily': "In the last decade, there has been many occasions when Liverpool have been ahead and Manchester City behind..."
But, then, Jose Mourinho interrupted him between laughter: "But City were the best team, not like now".
And he tried to blow his own trumpet: "When I gave you the title by beating Liverpool you never called me to say thank you.".
Everyone started laughing on the set, but Mou got serious: "You were the best team. Liverpool were close... but you were better. Right now, I don't think there's that power difference".
And to conclude, the Portuguese coach put his finger in the sore: "They are the champions of Europe... and you are the champions of England".
