Neymar came in for significant criticism following the World Cup, when his antics outshone his performances in Russia.
He was at is again on Friday as he threw himself to the ground under a challenge from the Newcastle defender, who was quick to make fun of his opposite number.
Clearly unhappy with the decision to award a free-kick, Yedlin could be seen in deep conversation with the match official, before appearing to ask "Did you watch the World Cup?".
The reference to his histrionics appears to suggest that Neymar's actions aren't going to be forgotten any time soon.
It may indeed prove to be a case of 'the boy who cried wolf', with officials less likely to give free-kicks as Neymar's reputation preceeds him.
