Real Madrid face an important week in which they face Villarreal and Inter Milan, and they will do so without their captain, Sergio Ramos, after he suffered a hamstring injury playing for Spain.
Los Blancos have been training without the centre-back, who was in Madrid on Wednesday (he got injured on Tuesday) to start with his recovery process in the gym at the Valdebebas facilities.
Awaiting his assessment, Ramos is working out to try and shorten the time he is out as much as possible and is boasting about it on social media.
On his Instagram profile, the player uploaded images of his intense exercises in the gym, which were accompanied by a message of motivation. "Work for it!" was the brief text.
For the time being it's certain that he will miss the matches against Villarreal and Inter in the Champions League. We will have to see if he makes it in time for the Alavés game next Saturday.
