Josh Murphy has become the first signing since Cardiff City clinched their promotion back to the Premier League.
The 23 year-old winger, who scored 11 times for Norwich City last season, has signed a 4 year-deal with the Welsh club, whose manager Neil Warnock admitted that he was his primary transfer target and has been since the end of last season.
"Josh is a player I've watched for a number of years now and he's always excited me when he runs with the ball," the veteran manager said, "He can play an instrumental part in helping us to stay in the Premier League and I know he's looking forward to the challenge."
The Norwich academy graduate, whose twin brother Jacob plays for Newcastle United, made 108 appearances for the Canaries in his 5 years as a professional at the club.
Cardiff are believed to have paid a fee in the region of £11m for Murphy.
