Willian got his second after Dele Alli-Kovacic spat

In the 43rd minute of the match, there was a war of words between various players in the middle of the pitch. The ones most involved were Dele Alli and Kovacic, who ended up confronting and pushing each other. 

Shortly before that, there was a yellow card for Zouma for a shirt pull on Kane and there was a clash between Kepa and Sissoko which led to the medical teams coming onto the pitch. 

Both sets of players tried to separate the pair and make them realise that argument would do no good at all. The official gave both men a yellow. 

Just a few minutes later, Gazzaniga wiped out Marcos Alonso. The VAR buzzed in to give the spot kick after Marcos Alonso was surprisingly penalised initially and Willian made no mistake from 12 yards.
