Why was Neymar's release clause exactly 222 million euros?

The reason for Neymar's 222 million euros release clause at Barcelona is simply down to an obsession. That obsession, belonging to Barcelona's former director of football Raul Sanllehi, is one of palindromic numbers, believe it or not.
This strange matter was discovered by 'Mundo Deportivo' who reported that neither Neymar's father nor the player himself agreed about the release clause, of 200 million, being increased.
Sanllehi and Neymar Sr are close personal friends, and the former director reportedly tried to convince Neymar to increase the clause to 300 million, but after failing to do so, the two agreed upon a number which was nice on the eyes, at the request of Sanllehi.
The man with the unique obsession has since made the move to Arsenal, where he is the head of football relations for the North London club.
This increase was completely useless for Barcelona. Just 22 million euros difference, which PSG were more than happy to provide to secure the services of the Brazilian star.
