While Barca rested, Messi worked his socks off this weekend

Leo Messi is still recovering from the injury which prevented him from playing against Athletic Bilbao although he would have played had he really been needed. 

In any case, 'AS' reveals that the Argentine striker and top Barcelona star has not stopped working and his aim is to join the rest of the group on Monday. Therefore, he has worked his socks off this weekend. 

Barca were defeated in Bilbao in their league opener, but the players had a rest over the weekend and will be back to work on Monday. Leo is expected to return. 

And Barcelona need him to return. At San Mames, Barca missed their main man up front. The soleus muscle gave him problems straight after coming back from holiday. Messi is getting himself fit again.
