Ferran Torres scored a hat-trick as Luis Enrique's Spain stunned Germany to their worst ever competitive defeat and their second-worst loss of all time.
The record was previously held by England, who famously beat the Germans 5-1 in a Berlin in a World Cup qualifier in 2002, with Michael Owen's hat-trick headlining the incredible evening.
