For yet another season, the most exciting club competition in the world is about to reach the group stage. 32 teams split into eight groups will fight for the Champions League 2019-20 trophy.
As there are still six spots up for grabs, at the moment there are 26 teams who have guaranteed their place in the group phase. The group stage draw will be made once the play-off round has finished.
Liverpool will be defending the trophy and everyone will be after them. Barcelona do not want to slip up once again, Real Madrid have made some changes, PSG want their sought after Champions League and Juventus have Cristiano Ronaldo. The best football is back.
Champions League draw date
It will be on Thursday 29th August when the city of Monaco hosts the draw. Each group will contain four teams.
The draw will take place at 6pm local time, 5pm UK time, 12pm Eastern time in the USA and 4pm Ghanaian time.
Where to watch the Champions League
It will be live on BT Sport in the UK. In any case, UEFA.com will broadcast a live stream which can be seen on their website.
