With the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini at West Ham, the London club have begun to launch a new recruitment drive. The 'Hammers' have already brought in Issa Diop and Lukasz Fabianski, and are reportedly close to deals for Felipe Anderson and Jack Wilshere.
The latest man on their shopping list appears to be Ukrainian Andriy Yarmolenko, who currently plays at Borussia Dortmund. The winger is 28 years old, and joined the German side last year from Dynamo Kiev.
Although Dortmund paid £23m for him just one year ago, West Ham have reportedly submitted a £17.5m bid for the forward, who scored three league goals and contributed five assists last season.
If the bid does go through, the deal would be subject to a medical and a work permit.
