The side will be making use of Espanyol's training facilities after their tie with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
Pardew is hoping his side can follow in the footsteps of Tottenham who made the same trip a few week ago and have been in good form since.
"We're looking forward to changing the schedule and getting some freshness into the group for the run-in," said Pardew.
"The facilities are excellent and there is an opportunity to get in some quality training time with the players," he then added.
The trip to Spain may also serve to help striker Jay Rodriguez to clear his head amidst allegations he racially abused Brighton's Gaetan Bong.
