West Brom looking to complete unbeaten season...against Liverpool

If you asked most people what you expect the score to be when Liverpool take on West Brom on Saturday, the vast majority would predict three points for the 'Reds'.
Liverpool are third in the table, one of the best attacking sides in Europe, and are riding high after knocking out Premier League champions Manchester City to make it to the Champions League semi-final. West Brom, meanwhile, are rock bottom of the table, are widely expected to be relegated, and have only won three league games all season.
However, there are reasons to be optimistic for West Brom. If not in a broader sense, in this one game at least. They have not lost against Liverpool this season, despite the gulf in quality between the two teams. Back when Alan Pardew was in charge, the 'Baggies' came off the back of a 20-game run without a win to knock Jurgen Klopp's side out of the FA Cup at Anfield.
Earlier in the season they had held out to a league draw away against the 'Reds', despite Liverpool being in lethal form, having just put seven goals past Spartak Moscow.
Furthermore, West Brom seem to be experiencing the famous 'new manager bounce'. They recently took on a Manchester United side that had shocked everyone by defeating now-champions Manchester City in their own back garden. However, with caretaker Darren Moore leading the helm, they completed their own shock, beating United at Old Trafford.
West Brom haven't lost since Moore was appointed (albeit this only equates to two games), and on Saturday they will look to kill another giant and complete an unbeaten season against Liverpool. Who knows, could they even begin a fairytale turnaround and avoid the drop? Probably not.
