Werner would lose prominence at Liverpool, warns Nagelsmann

The love story between Timo Werner and Liverpool has not yet begun, but the nods in recent months have caught the media's attention. 

When you are linked with that team, you have to feel proud," said Werner in an interview for 'ViasportFotball'. His affinity for Klopp's team is key for Liverpool when fighting with other teams for the German striker.

In this context, RB Leipzig seems helpless against Liverpool, although the Germans play their cards by putting the counterpoint to Werner's dream. To do so, Julian Nagelsmann issued a warning to his team's star. 

"It would be more difficult for Timo Werner to play at Liverpool than at Leipzig. He won't have the same status as he had in his early years here, and I've already told him that," said the coach, who admitted that he had already had discussions on this matter with the striker.

That was not the last thing he said. He also pointed out that they would not make it easy: "The boys are seeing how we are developing and how much potential we have. We're not going to let anyone go and leave us helpless."
