The Champions League final is in just four days time. This Saturday, Liverpool and Real Madrid wil lock horns in a season-defining game. Carvajal spoke ahead of the encounter at the 'Open Media Day.'
"Liverpool are a team that dominates counterattacks so we'll have to be careful not to lose the ball. We'll try to hang onto it and press high to pickpocket them," said the Spain international.
For Carvajal, a crucial moment for Real Madrid was their victory against PSG in the last-16 when they could have kissed goodbye to their season.
"PSG was the turning point. On 6th March, our season almost ended, but we won at home and in Paris. It stunned all of Europe. We didn't stop watching videos of Cavani, Mbappe and Neymar and we thought 'f*** it, we're not so bad.' We like to do our talking on the pitch," he said.
Carvajal added that he's not thinking about the World Cup yet and that he's feeling good returning from injury: "Right now I'm not going to think about the World Cup. You can't do that in a final. I felt good against Villarreal and I'm ready."
