"We’re happy because we’re in a semifinal six years later"

Barcelona centre-back Ronald Araujo assured on Tuesday, after qualifying for the Champions League semifinals with a 3-1 defeat at Borussia Dortmund thanks to a 4-0 first leg win, that the club deserved to return to the top four in Europe.

"I'm happy. We are in a semi-final after a long time. It's been six years and this club deserves it. There are things we have to correct, but we are in the semifinals. I'm happy because we would have lost this match at any other time. We were able to hold on well," he said in statements to ‘Movistar Liga de Campeones’.

The Uruguayan defender said that “the Champions League is like that, very difficult”. "I personally had never played in the semifinals, so I'm happy because we are doing things well.
