Barcelona took a huge step in their fight for La Liga, picking up three points at the Estadio de la Cerámica stadium after defeating Villarreal 1-2 in the Catalan side's most difficult away game on paper in this final stage of the season.
The man responsible for Barca's victory, without a doubt, was Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman scored twice for his side and valued the importance of the victory, although he stressed that there is still a long way to go in the season.
"We have six matches left that are genuine finals. Atletico are having a great season, but we are just behind them doing as much as we can", he explained to 'Movistar LaLiga'.
In the same vain, the French attacker wanted to emphasise that, whatever happens, the league is in Barcelona's hands - a title which would complete a double for the Catalan side.
"It's in our hands and we know what we have to do from now until the end of the season. We need to win every match to be champions", he stated.
