France midfielder Adrien Rabiot spoke ahead of the Netherlands clash. He said that Kylian Mbappe is not yet ruled out of the game, although he acknowledged that his absence would cause "an impact" if, in the end, he is unable to play. However, he made it clear that there is talent in 'Les Bleus' to take the place of the Madrid star if necessary.

"I am not going to complain given the lads we have on the bench. We have more than enough options to replace Kylian. I have total confidence in the guys on the bench and the quality we have," he added at a press conference in Paderborn.

As usual at every press conference for the French national team at this European Championship, he was also asked about the upcoming early legislative elections in the country. "The future of the country is at stake, it's a very important issue. After that, everyone is free to think what they want and give their opinion. We want to tell people to go and vote. We have a vote and we have to use it," he replied.
