The Barca coach pointed out that the game could have gone either way and explained that his team had chances to score, but that the opponent could have scored from one of many rebounds.
"I have seen a very hard fought game. They had a lot to play for and so did we. We knew we were going to play against a team which has quick players up front and which look for long balls and second balls, but both the centre backs and Arturo Vidal have been good," he analysed. The Spanish coach indicated that the match against Huesca had a special feel to it because it was a "special" week.
"We have come from playing a long Champions League game and we have the second leg on Tuesday. I thought it was the moment to make changes. There were a lot and the way of playing has been based on the players we have. Taking into account that Huesca were fighting for their lives and that you can do better, the test was difficult, but it turned out well," he assured.
Despite the fact he was disappointed not to win, he considered that they should be "happy" given the circumstances and because it's not the same giving a player his debut as playing a much changed team.
"When you change so many players it is difficult. We could have done better, but on the whole, we are happy," he emphasised.
The coach of the Catalan outfit finished revealing that if they had not beaten Atletico Madrid last weekend, he would have put a different line-up for the Huesca game.
