Manchester City and Real Madrid will face each other in the Champions League last 16 2nd leg. The date still isn't known- or the location-, but the players are already starting to have their sights set one of the biggest dates of the season.
Pep Guardiola's men won 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabéu, so they left reinforced from their visit to Madrid and will face the match with the game in their hands, as City midfielder Rodri showed.
The ex-Atlético man spoke about the first leg in an interview in 'La Futbolería' of the newspaper 'AS': "I don't trust Madrid, although we won 1-2. It's Madrid and it's far from being finished".
"We've got a better team and we proved that in the first leg, but there's still one step to go. Respecting our opponents, we have to go for the win, we can't get confused", Rodri added.
The 23-year-old player also praised Luka Modric: "He makes a difference, he has made a difference all these years. It's true that he's getting older as the years go by and he's not the same, but he's unique in terms of form".
"He's a total central midfielder, not only capable of distributing and exerting as such, but of breaking the lines with that drive and that pull. Plus, he's got vision, hitting and finishing", Rodi added in reference to the Croat.
