"We deserved to win in extra time"

Barcelona's Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong said that "it is normal" to suffer against Real Madrid despite winning the Copa del Rey final 3-2, which, in his opinion, they deserved ‘in extra time’.

"In the second half we were dominating, but in the second half we got a bit complicated against top level players. It's normal that if you play against Real Madrid you suffer at times during the game. We conceded too much, but we equalised at the end and deserved to win in extra time," he commented on “Movistar+”.
