Erik Lamela is one of Tottenham's most important players. The midfielder has played 33 games, but having only started 14 of them after dealing with several injuries during the season.
"One dreams of playing this kind of match from an early age. We're very excited. We have fought hard to be here and now we have nothing to lose," Lamela said in an exclusive interview with 'Marca'.
The Argentine highlighted the work of the Tottenham coach: "With Pochettino we have grown a lot. Thanks to his work we are playing in the final, which a few years ago was unthinkable. He's a great person."
On his campaign, Lamela assured that he has already "forgotten the problems" and that he wants game time, or the whole match, if Pochettino believes he deserves it.
As for the rival, Lamela does not fear the Reds.
"Liverpool is a very tough opponent, but surely they think the same. We can beat them and it has happened several times before. We want to play a smart game with which we can make the year," he concluded.
