A 'Superclásico of the Americas' goes far beyond what a tournament or championship can mean. As in any derby, pride is at stake. In Brazil v Argentina or Argentina v Brazil it is the same.
That's what Dani Alves, a player who has no qualms about talking about the most controversial issues, talked about. And the Brazilian wanted to dedicate a few words to Argentina after their 1-0 win in the last match.
"It's pathetic how the game went. We're also in a rebuilding process and to build, you have to improve", Alves recalled about the match when speaking to 'FOX Sports'.
"But we're used to winning more than losing against Argentina, especially when the match means something," said the Brazil full-back, who is still preparing for a new Copa America at the end of the season.
A tournament in which they will try to defend the title they won a few months ago after beating Argentina. A historic rivalry that will never end. With Alves, a new episode.
