"We created chances, but we weren't clinical enough. Maybe now without Cristiano Ronaldo people talk more, but we also went through dry spells with him. The goals are going to come," Ramos explained in the mixed zone following the loss at the Estadio de Mendizorroza.
"Football is about results, we'll start scoring again, the goals will come," he continued. "Honest footballers look at themselves in the mirror and that's what we're doing. this is a collective problem and we're not going to single anyone out.
Meanwhile, the experienced centre-half also jumped to the defence of manager Julen Lopetegui, saying: "It doesn't seem right to me that we change managers now. It would be crazy to sack Lopetegui. we're three points off top.
"Everyone is entitled to their opinion, when club change managers sometimes things improve and sometimes they get worse. It's far too early to be talking about changing managers and other people would make that decision anyway."
Finally, Ramos took the opportunity to fire a warning to Madrid's rivals. "Anyone who assumes Real Madrid are beaten is always wrong," he insisted. "We've got to move on. The season is long and there's plenty of games left. Despite our poor form we'll stay within three points of the leader."
