The energy ccompany Yu Energy is after Moussa Sissoko for debts in his light bill during his spell playing for Tottenham and Watford . The Frenchman has supposedly not paid energy bills which are worth around €70,000.
The midfielder, who moved to France at the start of the season, was earning €92,000 per month during this spell and the electricity company plans to demand he pays even though he is in France. "There is no way he can avoid the responsiblity", a company director said to 'The Sun'.
Yu Energy are considering taking the case against the player to court and it will soon be known what legal action Sissoko will be taking to defend his case, or whether he will pay up what he owes.
So far this season, the 2018 World Cup winner with France has played 11 games, scoring just once for Nantes.
