Walker's incredible clearance that gave City the title

Sterling scored in the first half and Matip tied the score in the second. They were the goalscorers in a vibrant, electric, exciting match. Classic Premier League beauty. The Liverpool-City Community Shield winner was sentenced to be decided on penalties.

But in the 93rd minute, just seconds from the end (four were added), Kyle Walker was the author of one of the evening's best football actions. Wembley has been the stage for Champions League finals, and more than the occasional stunning football match, but this definitely came close. 

Salah was dangerously approaching Bravo's box and had already outrun Otamendi. There was nothing left to do besides shoot the ball in. As Bravo watched the ball slip through, Walker's incredible clearance saved the day: he ran towards the ball as if his life depended on it, he reached the goal line and with a jump worthy of a martial arts professional, he cleared the ball from the net with a vertical strike with the tip of his toe. 

It was an incredible save that was worth the extra time and also the title, as Manchester City won the Community Shield against Liverpool in the penalty shootout.
