The relationship between Nike and Vinicius Junior is damaged. As confirmed by 'Marca', it has been merely formal for some time, as the footballer is unhappy with the treatment received by the sports brand.
Specifically, there are two aspects in which he is unhappy: economic and prominence. This is not a subjective opinion of the player himself, but is based on reports derived from a market study in which some variables were taken into account. For example, the impact on the media, requests from Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team, shirt sales, volume of offers, agreements with other international companies and social networks.
The problem is that Vinicius signed a contract renewal with Nike in 2018, so he would have to wait until 2028 to end the relationship. His lawyers are studying how to terminate it, but they know it will not be easy without a clause.
The Brazilian signed two contracts with the sports brand. The first was in 2013 and the second was in 2018. In the latter agreement, his economic conditions were improved, however, they do not currently match the level of the star he has become.
