At the time, Savio left Flamengo "when he was 23", five years older than Vinicius when he decided to swap Brazil for Spain. He arrived at Real Madrid, excited the fans and wants to make history. Zidane, of course, is happy.
"When I left Flamengo, I had played five seasons. Vinicius is 18 and leaving Flamengo for Real Madrid is a natural process. He is still adapting, he must understand the tactical part [of the game]", he said in a statement given to 'UOL Esporte'.
Savio was recently in the Spanish capital, meeting Vinicius there. Two Brazilians, two former Flamengo and Real Madrid. Savio left the meeting with a clear opinoin of the young attacker.
"I met a mature boy who is aware of the importance of adaptation. He welcomed me with the whole family, he has joy in his eyes. He is a child who wants to make history," he said.
