The Brazilian starlet turned in a fine performance against the third-tier minnows, helping himself to an assist and showing sevel glimpses of his undoubted talent.
Speaking to 'El Partidazo de COPE' following the game, former agent Minguella revealed that the youngster was very close to joining Real's bitter rivals Barcelona.
"Vinicius was in Barcelona and had a pre-agreement with Barcleona, but in the en Real Madrid won the race by paying more money," he explained.
He then went about explaining how the huge figure that took the Samba star to the Bernabeu was divvied up.
"Vinicius cost Real Madrid €61m," he revealed, despite the official fee having been announced as €45m.
"€45m was the release clause, €8m for the player's family and the rest went to intermediaries," he added.
