Vinicius confronted Savic and then Koke at end of first half

Real Madrid were 1-0 up at half-time against Atletico Madrid, but there were a couple of flashpoints just before the interval. There was a spat between Vinicius and Savic and then the Brazilian took exception to Koke kicking the ball at him when the whistle had already gone.

Casemiro's goal ruined Atletico Madrid's game plan. Diego Simeone's side were not comfortable and they took their frustration out on Vinicius.

Just before half-time, the Brazilian striker for Real Madrid was involved in a spat with Stefan Savic after both fought for the ball in midfield. Mateu Lahoz had to calm the pair down.

Then, he was involved in an argument with Koke after the whistle had gone. The Atletico midfielder kicked the ball at him and the former Flamengo player was upset at it.

Their teammates had to come in and settle them down. Marcos Llorente and Casemiro were among those who split the duo.

Mateu Lahoz was probably happy that half-time came in that moment.
