VIDEO: 'We just wanted the final for our fans' - Raúl Albiol

On Tuesday evening, Villarreal hosted Liverpool at the Estadio de La Ceramica to battle it out in their Champions League semi-final second leg. Emery's men went into the match with a 2-0 down on aggregate after the first leg.
The home side had it all to do in front of their fans and they got off to the perfect start as Boulaye Dia netted in just the third minute. Francis Coquelin then levelled the tie after scoring just before half time. That is where Villarreal's dreams of reaching the final ended. Liverpool came out after half time a different beast thanks to the introduction of Luis Diaz. Fabinho scored in the 62nd minute, and the Colombian followed up five minutes later. Sadio Mane then scored a third in the 74th minute.
The Yellow Submarine lost 5-3 on aggregate meaning they were knocked out after reaching their second consecutive European semi-final, as they won the Europa League last season. Have a listen to their captain's thoughts after the loss in the video here!
