Solskjaer was full of praise for veteran striker Edinson Cavani during the post-match press conference following his sides 3-1 win against Tottenham.
Cavani played a vital role in Sunday's win. The Uruguayan had a goal controversially disallowed in the 34th minute, after Scott McTominay was adjudged to have fouled Son Heung-Min in the build up.
That man Son put the hosts ahead on 40 minutes, which lasted until Fred's 57th minute strike. Cavani, undeterred by his bad luck earlier in the match following VAR's intervention, struck a beauty barely ten minutes from time to put the 'Red Devils' 1-2 up. A late goal by youngster Mason Greenwood in the 96th minute rounded off a great turnaround by Solksjaer's men.
With the win, Man United secure 2nd place following Leicester's loss against West Ham. Tottenham, meanwhile, drop out of the top four race momentarily, four points behind Liverpool in 6th with just seven games remaining in the season.
