Timo Werner joined Chelsea this summer from RB Leipzig and he has had an instant impact at the West London club.
He played in Chelsea's pre-season friendly at Brighton last Saturday, a match which saw fans allowed into an English football ground for the first time since the coronavirus pandemic. Werner scored in just the fourth minute of the contest at the AMEX Stadium when a long pass was headed across goal in the area by Hudson-Odoi and Timo Werner tapped in from just outside the six yard box.
The 2500 fans went home happy though after Pascal Gross netted a 90th minute penalty to give Brighton a 1-1 draw. Check out Werner's goal in the video above!
